An unusual sight has been spotted off the Barbados’ west coast; a colourful fleet of 15 wooden clinker-built dinghies enjoying a week of racing, and fun, having travelled all the way from Seaview on the Isle of Wight by banana boat.
Founded in 1931, the Sea View One-Design Dinghy class is thriving with over 200 of these beautiful classic design boats based in the village of Seaview on the Isle of Wight. It is apparently the largest one-design classic dinghy class sailing in a single place, anywhere in the world.
